back in buisness

I was looking forward to being really organized and productive this summer, but once again I realize that I only have one week left and I still don't have my Eagle, I still haven't made a movie, and I still haven't beat my friend in one on one basketball. Every summer I get my hopes up, but I never accomplish anything. On the bright side, I'm getting used to waking up early, every morning I practice waking up as early as possible, eating breakfast, showering, getting dressed, making a lunch, and brushing my teeth before 7:40. So far I have been doing pretty good, but the rest of my day is still a nostalgic blur.

Here's my EFY company.

I just got back from the most amazing week of my life. It was AWESOME. The counselors were nice, my roommates were cool, and we had a lot of fun. At the end is a song we all improvised.

By far the best part of EFY was the testimony meeting on Thursday night. I can't describe it, but I can tell it was life changing for a lot of people. I don't know a single person there that didn't enjoy it. I'll put more pictures on later, but they won't fit on this post.

Sunrise, Sunset

For those of you unfortunate enough not to be familiar with Fiddler on the Roof, the title of this post means: Time flies. I had no idea that it had been so long since I posted. I haven't really been doing anything for the past two months and ten days, but I'll think of something to say.
Life is pretty good right now. Summer is almost here. My band (Ambassadors of What) is going awesome. I just discovered the Shins. I am enjoying everything. Except for how fast it's going. I'll post again soon with a bunch of pictures.

Now that battle of the books is over, I can read everything I want to. I am going to make a list so I don't forget.

3. Skeleton Creek (Chapter one is a book, chapter two is a movie, chapter three is a book, etc.)
4. The Tipping Point (not quite sure what it's about yet)

6. The last two books from the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series.

OBOB(oregon battle of the books)

Yesterday I went to the regional Battle of the Books. Each team had two battles, then they added the scores from the battles together. They took the top eight teams and put them in the tournament. I think our team was fourth or something like that. Then we went to our next battle, and we stayed about tied the entire time. Then, at the very end, we fell behind and were eliminated from the tournament. So we ended up fifth in the regional battle of the books.

Another Update

• My band has been going good. We have written three sets of lyrics and are going to try to put them to music this Friday. I have also written a song or two on my own that I need to show them.

• I have not touched the unicycle since I last got on, but I have been Ripsticking and am getting much better at it.

• I am doing Battle of the Books again this year and am Battling today to get into the semi-finals.

• I have gotten much better at typing and can type faster without looking than I could a couple months ago while looking. But I just discovered seconds ago that I am not that good at periods yet.

• I am really into Coldplay now and I still love Deathcab for Cutie. I am sad to admit that I buy most of my songs from Wal-Mart Music, and I am sorry to everyone for that. I should try to switch to iTunes.

That is about all for now. Oh, and I am turning 14 in two months and three days.

The last long while

Sorry I've been gone so long, I was kidnapped by Facebook, but luckily, it let me take a little break.
I have found several odd talents that I have, like my awesome Smeagol (Gollum) impression.

I have also been practicing the unicycle I got for Christmas. I'm not great yet,but I'm getting there.
I went saw my first professional Lacrosse game and got hit in the face with the game ball!
I wrote book one in my ninja comic book series.
I continued getting closer to getting my band up and running. Right now we are probably going to call ourselves the Ambassadors of What, but any name suggestions would be awesome.
I'll try to be back soon, but I can't make any promises (Face book is really demanding).
